| | Registration Department
When you come to Hoopeston Regional Health Center for services the first person you’ll see will normally be a Registration Department employee. The Registration Department employees will assist you in getting registered for your services, with verification of applicable insurance coverage(s) and necessary payment arrangements for your portion of the bill.
Items that patients and family members should have available at registration to help make the registration process flow smoothly are a photo I.D. for identity protection purposes, any insurance cards [including the most up to date Medicaid card if applicable] and the provider’s order for services - except for the Emergency Room. Patients should bring this information to every visit, regardless of the length of time between visits.
Financial arrangements for the payment of Emergency Room bills, including any applicable co-pays and co-insurances, will be addressed at the end of the visit. The facility accepts cash, check, and Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit cards for any hospital and clinic bills.
Patients who have no insurance coverage, or have limited income, may meet the necessary requirements to benefit from the facility’s Charity Care Program. Patients who may qualify for Charity Care Program should request information on the program from the registration employee. Once complete, the application will be turned into the Patient Finances Department for processing and the patient will be notified of the decision. | |
