Cissna Park Medical Clinic
In July of 2006 the Cissna Park Medical Clinic opened as an affiliate of Hoopeston Regional Health Center. Cissna Park business leaders approached Hoopeston Regional Health Center and asked them to consider opening a clinic so that community residents could have access to medical coverage locally. As a result of that request the facility opened the Cissna Park Medical Clinic.
Providers
Pamela Armstrong, Nurse Practitioner, joined the Cissna Park Medical Clinic with the goal of building relationships with her patients and providing a “medical home” for basic healthcare and coordination of specialty care as needed. Pam’s strength is in making all patients, regardless of age or gender, feel comfortable and cared for regarding their healthcare decisions.
Pam joins Dr. Jay Colbert at the Cissna Park Medical Clinic to provide quality care in family medicine needs including men’s health, women’s health, podiatry, pediatric well exams and any aged “sick” visits.

Lab Services
In addition, the clinic also offers area residents the opportunity to have blood drawn for lab tests ordered by ANY doctor. If your physician is out of town but wants you to have a lab test, you can ask your doctor to write an order for that lab test. You can then bring the order with you to the Cissna Park Medical Clinic. The blood draw service is an option for you Monday through Friday during clinic hours.
Insurances
The Cissna Park Medical Clinic accepts most insurances including Health Alliance, PHCS, Blue Cross/Blue Sheld, Personal Care, Aetna, Medicare, Medicaid and several more. If you are checking the website of your insurance carrier to determine if the clinic is "in-network" with your insurance, you may also want to cross-reference Hoopeston Medical Clinic or Dr. Jay Colbert. (not all insurances will list the clinic Cissna Park, buy as Hoopeston where the bill is processed; not all insurances will list the Nurse Practitioner's name but will list only the Suervising Physician) If you have questions, just call and we can help with your in-network research.
