Hoopeston Regional Health Center supports a system of Family Practice clinics that provide medical care to patients in the communities where they live.
Charlotte Ann Russell Medical Center, located on the campus of HRHC was built in 2000. The center offers a 10,000 square foot medical practice building that houses the medical practices of Dr. Hilary Frescoln,Dr. Jay Colbert and Dr. William McCarthy, all board-certified Family Practice physicians, and certified physician assistants Melia McCord, Keith Whitaker, and Karen Langdon. The Clinic also has it's own general surgeon Dr. Dan Chase.
A family physician is board-certified in family medicine. Training is focused on treating an individual throughout all of his or her life stages. Family physicians will see anyone with any problem, but are experts in common problems. Many family physicians deliver babies in addition to taking care of patients of all ages. Family physicians complete undergraduate school, medical school, and three more years of specialized medical residency training in family medicine. In order to remain board certified, family physicians take a written examination every six, seven, nine or 10 years, depending on what track they choose regarding the maintenance of their certification. Three hundred hours of continuing medical education within the prior six years is also required to be eligible to sit for the exam.
The education and experience of the Charlotte Ann Russell Medical Center Providers allows them to work together to provide you with an array of family medicine specialties including women’s health, well-child exams from birth to 18 years, podiatry assistance including surgery, sports injuries, back injury and manipulation of muscles, wellness and sick care visits.
Charlotte Ann Russell Medical Center hosts many visiting specialists each week to allow you to see the medical specialist without leaving your community. Currently, there are office hours scheduled by:

The Charlotte Ann Russell Medical Center is currently open 8:30am – 6:30 pm on Monday and Tuesday and 8:30 am – 5:00 pm Wednesday through Friday. Please call the staff at 217-283-5644 for information or an appointment. | |
