 |  | Board President – Russ Leigh
After earning his accounting degree from Olivet Nazarene University in 1984, Russ Leigh opened his own accounting firm. During his 26 years as a business owner in this area, Russ has contributed greatly to the community in his role as Board President and in the other organizations he supports including The Lions Club and the Hoopeston Chamber of Commerce.
During his time on the board, Russ has played a critical role in several successful construction projects. The 25 bed expansion in the Nursing Home and the construction of a new 30 unit Independent Living Apartment Complex and a new Medical Center are just a few of the successful projects he’s been involved with. Russ received the Excellence in Governance award from the Illinois Hospital Association for his contributions to the healthcare community.
Russ resides in Hoopeston with his wife, two daughters and one son. When he’s not involved in his many professional, civic and family obligations, Russ runs 4+ miles a day and he announces the local High School sporting events on the radio. |

 |  | Vice- President – Dick Read
Dick Read was born and raised in Hoopeston. He attended Bradley University and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. Dick has a great love for automobiles, and has been sports racing since 1971. He is also the owner of several car dealerships. Mr. Read currently resides in Hoopeston with his wife Christie. Together they have one son and two daughters.
Dick became a board member in 1996 and has served on the board for 10 years. His father was a long term board member, who was a great supporter of the Hoopeston Hospital. Dick shares his Father’s desire for a strong community Hospital as well. Since his time on the board, Mr. Read has seen the Hospital survive though financial times. He has also been a part of the building of the Physician Clinic and the Country Terrace Apartments. Dick also supports many other organizations, such as the Hoopeston Economic Development Council Steering Committee and the Vermilion Advantage Organization. |

 |  | Treasure – Lynn Galloway
Lynn (Cookie) Galloway was born and raised in Vermilion County. She has lived in Hoopeston the majority of her life. She is a graduate of Lakeview Medical Center with a diploma in nursing. Lynn is also a graduate of Lakeview College of Nursing with a bachelors of Science degree in nursing. Mrs. Galloway is a registered nurse with over 20 years of experience that includes hospital nursing, public health, and correctional nursing.
Lynn Galloway became a board member 7 years ago. “I was humbled to be asked to join this board, and I accepted because of my love for the facility,” she says. Once employed at Hoopeston Regional Health Center, Lynn wants to promote, support, and assist HRHC to grow and survive. During her time as board member, she has been involved with several construction projects. She has also seen the advancement of equipment and services, along with the retention of long time dedicated professional employees.
In her free time, Lynn enjoys playing golf, watching winter TV programs, and being a grandmother to 3 grandsons and 3 granddaughters. Lynn currently resides in Hoopeston with her husband Bob Galloway. Together they have 1 son and 1 daughter who both live in Bloomington, IL with their families.

 |  | Angie Totheroh- Board Member
Angie Tothgroh was born and raised in Hoopeston. She is the office manager at Chittick Family Eye Care, and has been there for 14 years. Mrs. Tothgroh has a degree in Accounting and is a Certified Optician as well. In her spare time, Angie likes to ride motorcycles, go golfing, and coach her son’s baseball team. She currently resides in Hoopeston with her husband Tim and son Mitchell.
Angie joined as a board member in October 2007, because she felt it was a good way to give something back to the community. Since her short time on the board, Angie has seen the facility undergo new construction projects. Most of all, Angie says she looks forward to the challenges of being a board member, and everything that goes with it. |

 |  | Dave McFadden -Board Member
Dave McFadden was born in Danville and raised in the surrounding areas. He served for 7 years in the United States Air Force. After his service, he became general manager of Crown Ford Mercury & Read Chevrolet Pontiac Buick. He has currently been in the automotive business for 16 years.
Dave has been a board member since 2003. He feels as though one of the greatest accomplishments the board has experienced since he became a member is attracting and keeping the talented employees. He believes they are the reason the hospital has not only been able to survive, but thrive as well. Dave serves as a board member because he believes that a hospital is one of the greatest assets a small community can have and, for him that is the ultimate way he could serve his community.
When Dave isn’t serving on the board or running car dealerships, he likes to stay in shape by running or mountain biking. In his spare time he likes to travel with his wife Stacy. Dave has currently resided in Hoopeston for the last 10 years and has four daughters. He is the head softball coach for Hoopeston Area High School and also coaches a summer league. |

 |  | Ed Layden- Board Member
Ed received his Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture from Illinois State University, and has been a farmer in our community for more than 33 years. He was born and raised in Hoopeston and has lived here more than 58 years. Ed resides here in Hoopeston with his wife Yvonne. Together they have five children, 3 sons and 2 daughters.
Ed served for 24 years in the United States Army. He received a Bronze Star, The Army Commendation Medal, The Vietnam Service Medal, and other Vietnamese Medals. He continues to show his support for the armed forces by being a part of the Rotary Program.
Mr. Layden has spent more than five years as a board member. In this time he has played a large role in a building project that he hopes to see concluded. Ed serves as a board member because he wants to insure that the hospital continues to thrive for many more years to come. |

 |  | Greg Lane- Board Member
Greg Lane was born in Decatur, IL. Mr. Lane attended Eastern Illinois University, where he obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Education. Greg retired after 34 years of educational service, 31 of which were spent as a teacher, coach, and administrator in the Rossville-Alvin school district. Mr. Lane is currently a Hoopeston Municipal Court Clerk and has resided here for 32 years.
Greg Lane joined the board in December of 2008. “I serve on the board to help promote Hoopeston Regional Health Center, the community and surrounding areas” says Greg. Although he hasn’t been on the board long, Greg hopes to see many accomplishments for the Hospital come from his service as a board member.
When Greg isn’t serving as a board member or Court Clerk, he enjoys studying the Lincoln and Kennedy Assassinations. Mr. Lane is a member of Hubbard Trail Country Club, and loves watching Illini, Cubs, and Bears games. Greg also enjoys his service as a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Hoopeston. Greg and his wife Jennette have been married for 33 years. Together they have two sons, both of which reside with their families in Illinois. |

 |  | Karla Coon - Board Member
Karla Coon, who was born and raised in the rural Hoopeston area, has been on the Hoopeston Regional Health Center Board of Directors since 2002. Karla’s strong background in many areas of business has served her well during her years on the board and in her role as the Chairperson of the board’s Facilities and Safety Committee through 2007. Karla worked at FMC for many years as Senior Purchasing Agent before its closure in 2004 and has since been employed by Horizon Hobby in Champaign. In her role as Director of Purchasing at Horizon Hobby she has travelled to Europe and China. Karla currently lives in Hoopeston with her husband Alfie. Karla has two daughters, Heather & Elizabeth and one step daughter, Angie Totheroh. Karla and her family have served for ten years as a host family for contestants for the National Sweetheart Pageant. During her time on the board Karla has been a strong and vocal advocate of the hospital and was closely involved in the construction and renovation project that was opened in 2008. |

 |  | Hank Hornbeck - Board Member
Mr. Hornbeck is currently the Superintendent of Hoopeston Area Schools but his road to this position required a lot of dedication and hard work. He started out his career after receiving his Bachelor’s Degree from Millikin University. He then went on to receive a Master’s Degree from Eastern Illinois University along with another Specialist Degree from Eastern Illinois University. He began teaching and coaching in the Hoopeston School District in 1994, eventually working his way up until he became Superintendent in July of 2007.
Mr. Hornbeck lives in Hoopeston with his wife Tammy, who is a physical education teacher in Rossville. He also has two children, his daughter Jordan who is married with one child and a second grade teacher at Maple grade school, and son Anthony who is currently attending the University of Illinois

 |  | Todd Harris - Board Member
Todd Harris was born and raised in Rossville and has resided there with his wife Debbie and two daughters for 44 years. Mr. Harris obtained his Associates Degree from Danville Area Community College and has been licensed in all lines of Property and Casualty, as well as Life and Health Insurance since 1982. Todd Harris owns Harris Agency, Inc., which he purchased in 1998.
Todd started on the board in the fall of 2007. Since his time on the board, Mr. Harris has seen the facility make good headway on the hospital finances. Todd serves as a board member because he has a strong sense of community service and wants to give back to those communities that have been good to him.
Mr. Harris is involved with many activities and organizations outside his time as a board member and Insurance Agent. Some of these organizations include, Rossville Fire Department, Rossville American Legion, and Hoopeston Chamber of Commerce. He also coaches a youth baseball league, a girl’s softball team and a soccer team.

 |  | Lealoni (Loni) Gress - Board Member
Lealoni (Loni) Gress is a lifelong resident of Hoopeston. She has worked for the City of Hoopeston for 19 years and is currently Office Manager. She started on the Board in October of 2006 because she has always believed in the Hospital and appreciates the outstanding care they have given to her and her family. She wanted to do whatever she could to ensure that the hospital prospers and grows. Loni is especially pleased with the new Lab area, Radiology suite, and Registration area as these are accomplishments she has also worked toward since becoming a part of our Board of Directors. Loni is busy with various organizations and hobbies including bowling and serving as Secretary of the Friday Night League. She will be a chaperone for the National Sweetheart Pageant this week. Loni is married to Tony Gress and resides in Hoopeston.
